We are upgrading asphalt pavement areas, using ready-made masses that are used to fill rough asphalt surfaces and open pores to extend the life of the asphalt pavement – on roads, parking lots, footpaths, as well as by filling out worn bituminous layers.                     

 

 

 

 

Asphalt pavement, under the influence of humidity, temperature, rotating wheel forces and environmental factors, is constantly peeling, deformation occurs – binder films are peeled off from mineral grains, the exposed surface becomes more porous. These phenomena are more common in spring when the surface temperature of the pavement is volatile and high in moisture. Chlorides dissolved in water are particularly undesirable. Chloride solutions dissolve ice crystals in the material, releasing the heat of the phase transition, which forms again when the air cools. This accelerated cycle of ice crystal formation greatly reduces the frost resistance of the materials and accelerates the peeling of asphalt pavements. To prevent the coating from cracking, it is best to treat the surface with bitumen and stone chippings.
